Performance Troupe and Agency

The River Road Performance Troupe is our structured pathway for students who are ready to step beyond lessons and ensembles into real-world performance opportunities.

The Troupe forms part of the broader River Road Performance Agency, creating opportunities for approved students to perform at community events, council activations, private bookings, festivals and River Road showcases. Students will also work alongside River Road teachers and professional musicians on our roster.

Recent opportunities have included performances at the Wilton Park Opening, Wingecarribee Youth Forum, Bowral Cinema Night, and other local events. These have featured both youth bands and individual performers.

The majority of public opportunities to date have been paid, however some performances may be community or development-based. All booking details — including payment (if applicable), rehearsal requirements, expectations and supervision — are clearly communicated prior to confirmation. Participation is always optional.

All Performance Troupe bookings involve River Road staff to ensure students are supported, prepared and professionally represented at every event.
